Bianco’s studio is located in Pietrasanta, Tuscany, Italy.
Pietrasanta is a famous city of art for the ancient school of craftsmen and artists working on the purest marble in the world, found in the nearby Apuan Alps.
Michelangelo arrived here for the first time, in his various travels, in search of the prestigious stone in the pristine white quarries above Pietrasanta and the nearby town of Carrara (which has given its name to this highest quality marble), and has given rise to a long tradition in the craftsmanship and art of sculpture in the world that continues to this day.
